Engaging Conference Attendees is Critical. And YOU can do it!

- Many attendees are first timers. That means they are clueless.
- You want members to feel engaged and want to come back.
Follow two umbrellas or filters when choosing how to engage your attendees.
First, Connection Before Content.
From the moment members arrive, keep them connecting with fun activities and challenges like:
Post a pic with people from other chapters. A fun photo booth. A Goose Chase with creative missions. A scavenger hunt. Random door prizes throughout the event.
Second, Do Less – But Do Better.
Create larger experiences that include as many people as possible.
Host a canned food drive. Give each leader/advisor a handwritten thank you note. Create several “Pass It On” cards that say “AHA! I Caught YOU Being Awesome! Print your name on the back of this card and search for someone else being awesome to pass it on.”
